Jer and Jess - Dalhousie Castle, Scotland - September 15, 2003

About Jess and Jer
Jess and Jer met in high school in 1992. For a while (11/2 years) they were high school sweethearts. They broke up, but that didn't last all that long. By September of 1997 they were back together again. This time, apparently, for good.

Dalhousie Castle at Sunset
About The Castle
Dalhousie Castle was built in the 13th century by the Ramsays of Dalhousie. It has been owned by the family ever since. It was converted to a hotel in 1972, and some of the defensive features, such as the moat, were made a bit less intimidating. You can read more about the castle's history on its web site.
About The Ceremony
The ceremony will take place at 2:00 in the chapel of Dalhousie castle. The bridesmaids will be wearing silver dresses, and the groomsmen will be wearing black skirts (well, kilts). Attire for the guests will be semi-formal (jacket and slacks for the gents, but you may wear a kilt if you wish).

The Sir Alexander Room
About The Reception
The reception will be held in the castle's Sir Alexander room, after the ceremony and formal portraits. (Unfortunately, the dungeon restaurant is too small.) The reception meal will be afternoon tea. The menu will include coffee or tea, various finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, and two flavors of wedding cake. If you have any dietary restriction beyond vegetarianism, please do let us know.
